Federal prosecutors announced charges against former Cuban President Raúl Castro in the 1996 downing of civilian planes operated by Miami-based exiles, escalating pressure on Cuba's socialist government.
Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez insisted Cuba 'poses no threat' to the United States and doesn't have 'aggressive plans or intentions against any country,' after reports that the island nation has hundreds of military drones and has been allegedly discussing plans to strike the U.S. military base in Guantanamo Bay and potentially Florida's Key West.
Cuba’s president, Miguel Díaz-Canel, has warned that any US military action against his country would lead to a 'bloodbath' with incalculable consequences for regional peace and stability.
China said on Thursday it firmly opposes the United States 'abusing judicial means' and pressuring Cuba after Washington charged former Cuban President Raul Castro for murder.
