Spice importer Burlap & Barrel, Inc. and toy company Basic Fun Inc. have filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration, arguing that the president cannot reimpose a global 10% tax on imported goods after the Supreme Court struck down previous tariffs.
Small business owners express skepticism about receiving refunds after the Supreme Court invalidated Trump's tariffs, citing concerns over the complexity and potential legal costs involved in claiming reimbursements.
New York Attorney General Letitia James, along with a coalition of 21 other attorneys general and the governors of Kentucky and Pennsylvania, has filed a lawsuit to block the Trump administration's latest attempt to impose tariffs, arguing that the president lacks the authority to do so.
