Diesel prices in Kenya have risen by KSh40.30 per litre, reaching KSh206.84, driven by higher international prices and shipping costs linked to the US-Israel war on Iran.

Kenya has raised its retail fuel prices by as much as 24.2% amid a spike in crude prices and squeezed petroleum supplies caused by the Middle East conflict, the East African country's energy regulator said late on Tuesday.

Fuel prices in Kenya have surged to unprecedented levels following a sharp rise in global oil prices and increased international shipping costs, with diesel rising by KSh40.30 to KSh206.84 per litre and petrol by KSh28.69 to KSh206.97 per litre.
