President Trump stated that U.S. and Iranian negotiators are nearing a final agreement to end the conflict, with discussions including reopening the Strait of Hormuz and unfreezing Iranian assets.
Field Marshal Asim Munir of Pakistan arrived in Tehran to mediate a peace deal between the U.S. and Iran aimed at ending the war and initiating broader negotiations.
President Trump indicated that the US and Iran are nearing finalization of an agreement, with the latest proposal including reopening the Strait of Hormuz and unfreezing some Iranian assets. He emphasized that the final agreement would prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.
