Ghana, respaldada por 55 países de la Unión Africana y la Comunidad del Caribe, presentó una resolución ante la ONU para reconocer la trata y esclavitud racializada de africanos como "el crimen más grave contra la humanidad". La resolución será votada el 25 de marzo, Día Internacional en recuerdo de las víctimas de la esclavitud y la trata transatlántica.
